South Pacific Cosmetology Laboratory

South Pacific Cosmetology Laboratory & Yves Rocher

AGRODEV was asked to conduct an initial assessment of tiare Tahiti suppliers and provide agronomic monitoring of plots belonging to six partner farmers. A technical sheet on the cultivation of Gardenia taitensis was also developed to improve agricultural practices.

The South Pacific cosmetics laboratory has embarked on a UEBT certification process:

This process involves evaluating all suppliers in the supply chain leading to a cosmetic product. The principle is to assess the level of compliance at a given time (T0), implement corrective actions, and evaluate their impact over subsequent years (N+1, N+2, etc.). As a supplier of monoi oil, the South Pacific cosmetics laboratory must comply with the requirements of this certification and must also verify and ensure that its Tiare oil suppliers comply with them.

AGRODEV was asked to carry out an initial diagnosis of suppliers of Tahitian tiare flowers, followed by agronomic and documentary support for the plots of six partner farmers.

As part of this project, a detailed technical sheet on the cultivation of Gardenia taitensis has also been designed to support good agricultural practices and optimize production.
